About COV – IIT Delhi

COV – IIT Delhi, guided by the motto Help Others Celebrate Life, is a community of volunteers for the students and alumni of IIT Delhi. Engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs and researchers who trained at IIT Delhi stay connected long after they leave the campus, across batches, courses, specialties and countries. This community gives that bond a place to turn into everyday help.

COV – IIT Delhi extends this same unbreakable spirit of fraternity to create an example for alumni communities across India and overseas. Like a vast virtual joint family, we come together to support one another — young and old, public or private sector, government or corporate, entrepreneurs or employees, men or women — in every aspect of life, whether personal, professional, emotional, or financial.

While conventional alumni organizations often serve mainly as directories, referral networks, or fundraising platforms, COV – IIT Delhi aspires to something far more meaningful: weaving individuals and nuclear families into a living, supportive virtual joint family where genuine care, collaboration, and mutual upliftment flourish every day.

COV – IIT Delhi is run by Ritanya Sanstha together with volunteers from the IIT Delhi student and alumni community. Membership is currently free; the registration form has an optional contribution for those who wish to support the work.

The community's data stays private to its own members: other communities run by Ritanya Sanstha cannot see it.
